For schools

What a pilot looks like at your school

OpenSchool is a layer, not a replacement: your platform stays the system of record; we add the mastery block and Guide tools.

Pilot facts

1 class

or one learning group — the pilot starts at a small, manageable scale.

1–2 teachers

in the Guide role — with our training and ongoing support.

Your content

we work with the school’s existing curriculum — nothing needs rewriting.

1 semester

with jointly defined goals and openly measured results.

What happens after you apply?

1) A 20-minute call — we get to know each other and answer questions, no strings attached. 2) A pilot plan for your context — together we define scope, goals and what we will measure. 3) Launch with our support — we train the Guides, set up the tools and stay alongside you for the whole pilot.

Try the model in the demo

Before applying you can try the model in 3 minutes: miic.lv/en/demo shows both the learner view (AI adapts explanations to interests, comprehension checks are visual) and the teacher view with escalation decisions. The demo uses fictional data only, no registration.

Onboarding wizard for pilot schools

Confirmed pilot schools get an onboarding wizard at miic.lv/onboarding: a school profile with a directory of Latvian schools, Guide invitations, mapping content to mastery units with an AI assist, consent templates in Latvian and English, and a launch checklist. Every step saves — the wizard can be completed across sessions.

Integrations

OpenSchool plugs into Moodle via the LTI 1.3 standard, and into national/proprietary systems (e.g. eSkola-type environments) via an embedded view and a results API. Your platform stays the system of record. Detailed integration documentation is being prepared (Phase 4).
