New demo: AI personalization and visual learning — try it at miic.lv

The OpenSchool interactive demo has been substantially expanded — it now shows exactly what makes the model different.

In the learner view: before studying, pick your interests (sports, video games, music, nature, business or cooking), your preferred learning form and how you feel about maths — and the AI rewrites every unit’s explanation live, just for you, with a toggle to the standard text for comparison. Every unit opens with an interactive visualization, and comprehension checks are answered visually too: by painting a grid, sliding a bar or clicking the right bar — the reading load is reduced to a minimum.

In the teacher (Guide) view: an escalation is a decision card — the learner’s interests, the reason in their own words, "what the AI already tried" versus "why a human, now", and four interventions AI cannot do by construction: a one-to-one talk, pairing with a classmate, a different context in person, wellbeing support.

The demo works in Latvian and English, with fictional data and no registration: miic.lv/en/demo. Schools that want to pilot the model in a real class are welcome to apply in the "Apply" section at miic.lv.
