OpenSchool is built by MIIC SIA — an education technology company in Latvia. We build an adaptive, mastery-based learning support layer for mainstream schools — with the teacher at the centre.
Team

Ethics principles (summary)
Six principles that are not marketing but product design constraints: (1) the teacher stays at the centre — AI assists, humans lead; (2) understanding over speed — comprehension gates, never completion-only progress; (3) human in the loop — a stuck learner is escalated to the Guide, not looped; (4) equity by design — outcomes measured across learner groups; (5) transparency and GDPR — consent, revocability, no hidden surveillance; (6) EU AI Act high-risk pre-compliance.

Status, honestly
The first Latvian pilot is in preparation. We do not yet have customer testimonials or results — and we do not invent them. When pilot results exist, they will be published openly, limitations included.
